Finally a solution! Hey ppl, i was facing lot of problem with ZTE modem and reliance netconnect+ connection on my mac os lion 10.7.2. The macbook used to shut down every 5 minutes. After searching for hours on the net i found a solution to it as mentioned on the blog of this person download the generic ZTE driver mentioned on it and it works with all version of mac OS. Posting this so that many other can benefit from the blog. I almost gave up on the netconnect+ modem.but this solution does work.!!
The modem can be used as card reader also. So windows is detecting as a ZTE USB storage FFF1 USB device but not as a MOdem. When i try to set up a new connection and selected dial-up modem. It is not showing the modem as dial-up also. ZTE MF626 USB 3G Modem Windows 7 Driver, Connection Manager Utility, UserGuide Only MicroSD card is supported by the modem and do not use other memory card in the modem.
